Second day action cancelled due to rain

Detroit Lakes, Minn. -- The St. Cloud State University women's golf team placed fifth in the15-team Concordia Invite played Saturday at the Wildflower Golf Club in Detroit Lakes. Sunday's round was cancelled due to heavy overnight rains.

The Huskies posted a team score of 322 and the College of St. Benedict won the Invite with a score of 315.

For the second day in a row St. Cloud State rookie Laurel Enstrom (Rock Island, Ill.) led the Huskies. Enstrom finished second in the Invite with a two-over-par 74. On Friday she placed seventh in the Cobber Open.

Junior Katie Kruchten (St. Cloud) also had a solid weekend. She tied for 21st in the Concordia Invite with a score of 81.
