Huskies Fall 4-0 to #3 Ranked Wisconsin Badgers

St. Cloud, Minn.---The Number 3 ranked Wisconsin Badgers (12-2-1, 10-2-1 WCHA) shut-out St. Cloud State (5-7-1, 2-4-1 WCHA) 4-0 in Friday's afternoon game at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. Â
The Badgers took the lead only 3:26 into the first period, when senior forward Karley Sylvester was fed a pass in the slot for a one timer power play goal. Wisconsin added on to their one goal lead with two more goals in the first period. The fourth goal came early in the third period to seal the victory 4-0 for the Badgers.
Julie Friend stood strong between the pipes as she was faced with 47 shots in three periods of play. With the addition of the loss, Friends record moves to 4-4-0, 2-2-0 WCHA.
