The Huskies set the pace early with a four run first inning to gain a 4-0 lead. SCSU scored five runs in the fifth inning and capped the game with one run in the sixth and two runs in the seventh. The Huskies outhit LCU 15-11 in the contest.
Reese Gregory was the pitcher of record for the Huskies with four strikeouts and five hits allowed over 5.0 innings in the game. Sheldon Miks, Dylan Ramage and Kevin Bolder also made pitching appearances in the game.
