Springfield, Mo. -- The St. Cloud State women's golf team improved its team score by 11 strokes on the second day of the 2015 Central Region Preview to finish in a tie for tenth place with a score of 336-325=661.

The Huskies jumped three places in the team standings. Central Oklahoma took home the team title with a score of 313-309=622.

Laurel Enstrom and Brooke Taylor tied for 26th place in the individual standings. Enstrom improved her score by six strokes with a final round 78. She posted an 84 on the first day and finished with a score of 162. Taylor shot an 80-82 for a 162.

Katie Kruchten posted rounds of 83-86 for a 169 and finished in a tie for 49th place.

Madison Tenney and Kendall Niehaus both improved their scores by eight strokes on the second day of the competition. Tenney posted rounds of 89-81 for a 170 and tied for 54th place. Niehaus finished 70th with a score of 92-84 for a 176.

Next up for the Huskies is the final 36 holes of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championships April 25-26 at Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, Minn.
