SCSU's Reese Gregory named ABCA/Rawlings Central Region Pitcher of the Year

St. Cloud State University junior pitcher Reese Gregory (St. Cloud, Minn./Apollo H.S.) has been selected as the 2015 ABCA/Rawlings Division II Central Region Pitcher of the Year.

SCSU players named to the ABCA/Rawlings Division II All-Central Region Second Team included junior third baseman Zak Hoffman (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee H.S.) and junior pitcher Garrett Harrison (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park H.S.).
Gregory was also selected as the Central Region's Pitcher of the Year on the Daktronics All-Region team and the NCBWA All-Region team in 2015. Â He is a two-time All-America selection for the Huskies. Â Jurgella, Loxtercamp, Loxtercamp, Lieser and Miks were also selected to the Daktronics and NCBWA All-Region First Teams in 2015 for the Huskies.

The 2015 ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Div. II All-Region teams are voted on by members of the American Baseball Coaches Association and the process is led by the ABCA NCAA Div. II All-America Committee.
Gregory led the list of Huskies named to the ABCA/Rawlings Division II All-Central Region baseball team. Â A first team selection as a starting pitcher, Gregory was joined on the ABCA/Rawlings Division II All-Central First Team by senior catcher Mike Jurgella (Plover, Wisc./Pacelli H.S.), senior outfielder Eric Loxtercamp (Cold Spring, Minn./ROCORI H.S.), junior shortstop Kyle Lieser (St. Martin, Minn./Albany H.S.) and freshman pitcher Sheldon Miks (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee H.S.).ÂSCSU players named to the ABCA/Rawlings Division II All-Central Region Second Team included junior third baseman Zak Hoffman (Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee H.S.) and junior pitcher Garrett Harrison (Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park H.S.).
