The #3 St. Cloud State University men's hockey team (25-6-1, 15-4-1 NCHC) will wrap up its home regular season schedule on Feb. 26-27 with a pair of games against Minnesota Duluth (11-14-5, 7-10-3 NCHC) at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center (5,159 cap./200x100) in St. Cloud, Minn. The game on Feb. 26 is slated to start at 8:08 p.m. and the game on Feb. 27 will start at 7:07 p.m.
TICKETS:  Fans can purchase tickets online at www.scsutickets.com or by calling 1-877-SCSUTIX. You can also stop by the SCSU Athletic Ticket Office in the HBNHC during regular business hours and purchase your tickets in person. A limited number of tickets are available for the games against Minnesota Duluth, so please call or check the website for complete ticket details.
TROPHIES ON DISPLAY:  The NCHC Frozen Faceoff Trophy will be on display in the south concouse of the HBNHC during both games on Feb. 26-27. Fans will have an opportunity to get up close and see the trophy...a great photo opportunity! The North Star Cup trophy will also be on display in the concourse this weekend. The Huskies recently won the 2016 North Star Cup with wins over Minnesota State and Bemidji State on Jan. 30-31.
COLD ONE: Fans will have the opportunity to purchase beer at the SCSU-UMD game on Saturday, Feb. 27 at the HBNHC. All beer sales will be CASH ONLY. Credit cards will not be accepted for beer sales on Feb. 27.
SENIOR SALUTE:Â Â SCSU seniors who will be recognized on Feb. 27 include T.J. Belisle, Joey Benik, Kalle Kossila, David Morley, Jimmy Murray, Ethan Prow and Rasmus Reijola.

POLL POSITION: SCSU was ranked #3 in the USCHO.com and 3rd in the USA Today/USA Hockey DI national polls this week....SCSU has been ranked among the nation's top 20 teams in every poll so far this season.

LAST TIME OUT: SCSU improved to 25-6-1, 15-4-1 NCHC with a weekend sweep at Omaha with a 4-1 win on Feb. 19 and a 6-3 win on Feb. 20. This marked the eighth weekend sweep of the season for the Huskies. The Huskies are now 8-1-1 in their last 10 games played this season.

25 PLUS: This marks just the fourth time in SCSU's history as a Division I program that it has won 25 or more games. The Huskies' record for most wins in a season is 31 in 2000-01 (31-9-1).
NCHC LEADERS: In NCHC games played this season, SCSU's Kalle Kossila (9g/16a) and Joey Benik (13g/12a) rank second in the conference with 25 points apiece in 20 games played. Benik ranks second in the league with 13 goals and Kossila ranks second in the NCHC with 16 assists... At the NCAA level, Kalle Kossila ranks eighth in the country with 0.84 assists per game and Ethan Prow ranks 10th with 0.82 assists per game.
TOP DEFENSE: SCSU Hobey Baker candidate Ethan Prow paces all NCAA DI blue liners this winter with 1.07 points per game. Prow scored a power play goal on Feb. 20, which moves his season totals to 7g/23a. His 30 points scored this season is a career season-high for the senior from Sauk Rapids... In his career at SCSU, Prow now has 91 points (18g/73a) and he is tied with Andrew Prochno for second in the SCSU records for most points by a defenseman. Prochno had 16g/75a at SCSU from 2011-15.
LEADERS OF THE PACK: SCSU's current team scoring leaders are Kalle Kossila with 39 points and 27 assists, while Joey Benik tops the list with 19 goals for the Huskies. The 19 goals is a career season-high for Benik, while Kossila's 27 assists equals a career season-high he also hit in 2013-14...Ethan Prow and Joey Benik both lead the Huskies with five power play goals apiece this season. As a team, SCSU ranks second in the country with a power play rate of 29.8% (34/114).
JUST KILLING TIME: SCSU continued its strong special teams run at Omaha. In the last four games played, SCSU has charted an impressive 17-of-17 rate on the penalty. The last time SCSU allowed a power play goal was at 18:31 of the third period in a 5-2 victory over Bemidji State. SCSU's penalty kill rate this season continues to climb and it currently rates at 80.9% in 2015-16.
NCAA NOTEBOOK: SCSU leads all DI schools this season with 140 goals and ranks second in the country with 4.38 goals per game. The team record for most goals in a season is 179 (4.26 gpg) set in 2001-02...SCSU's defense has also been tough in 2015-16. The Huskies rank seventh in the nation with a 2.06 goals allowed per game average this winter and SCSU leads the nation with a scoring margin of 2.31 goals per game...The Huskies rank fourth in the nation for lowest number of penalty minutes per game this season at 7.4 minutes per game...At present, SCSU leads all NCAA Division I teams in 2015-16 with 25 victories this season.
THE LINE ON LINDGREN: SCSU's Mike Richter Award candidate Charlie Lindgren leads all DI goalie this season with 24 victories (24-6-1)...Lindgren's next victory in the nets will tie him for the SCSU team record for most goalie wins In a season. Scott Meyer currently leads the list with 25 victories during the 2000-01 season (25-8-1)...Lindgren currently owns a 2.03 GAA and a .929 save percentage in 2015-16. The team's current season records are held by Jase Weslosky with a 2.11 GAA and a .931 save percentage in 2007-08...In three years at SCSU, Lindgren has posted a 45-26-3 record along with a 2.18 GAA and a .922 save percentage. He currently ranks fourth in the team charts for most career victories and ninth with 1,880 career saves.
ON DECK: SCSU will travel to Colorado College on March 4-5 for its final two regular season games of 2015-16. Game time on March 4 is 8:37 p.m. (CT) and 8:07 p.m. (CT on March 5.
CAREER LEADERS: On the topic of career records, Kalle Kossila ranks ninth in the team records with 138 points and sixth with 92 career assists. The team record for career assists is 113, set by Garrett Roe from 2007-11...Seniors David Morley and Joey Benik both have 115 points during their careers with the Huskies and rank 18th in the team's scoring charts. Benik ranks 12th in the records with 55 career goals.
SENIOR SUPERLATIVES: SCSU seniors who will be saluted in the Huskies' final regular season home game on Feb. 27 include T.J. Belisle, Joey Benik, Kalle Kossila, David Morley, Jimmy Murray, Ethan Prow and Rasmus Reijola...This group of seniors has helped lead SCSU to a WCHA regular season title in 2012-13, an NCHC regular season title in 2013-14, an NCAA Midwest Regional title in 2013, a trip to the NCAA Frozen Four in 2013, three consecutive NCAA tournament bids and two consecutive runner-up finishes at the NCAA West Regional in 2014 and 2015. The Huskies own a 92-52-8 record during the four-year run of this senior class.
DOGFIGHT IN ST. CLOUD: The SCSU Huskies will match up against Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs on Feb. 26-27 at the HBNHC. The Huskies own a 62-43-9 record against the Bulldogs dating back to the series opener in 1946-47 (an 8-1 win for the Huskies). SCSU is 2-2-1 in the last five outings against UMD and earlier this season posted a 3-1 win and a 1-1 tie at Amsoil Arena on Jan. 15-16...SCSU gained the extra point with a 3x3 OT goal by Patrick Russell in the 1-1 tie on Jan. 16. This is the only OT game played by the Huskies in 2015-16...The last time UMD visited St. Cloud, the Bulldogs skated away with a 3-2 OT and 3-1 series sweep on Nov. 7-8, 2014.
FIRST PLACE HUSKIES: SCSU and North Dakota both own a share of first place in the NCHC with 47 points apiece. SCSU will complete its season with series against UMD and CC, while UND plays at Omaha on Feb. 26-27 and will return home on March 4-5 for games against Western Michigan.
HOME ICE IS NICE: SCSU clinched home ice in the upcoming NCHC playoffs with their wins at Omaha on Feb. 19-20. This marks the second time in league history that SCSU has earned home ice in the playoffs (2014 and 2016). SCSU is 2-2 in first round play of NCHC tournament action since 2013-14. The best-of-three first round series will take place on March 11-13 at the HBNHC. Visit www.scsutickets.com for complete details.
