Huskies show well in first day of action at Northern Michigan

In the first day of dual meets at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich. on Oct. 12, the SCSU men's and women's swim and dive teams turned in several strong performances. The men competed against NMU, while the women swam against NMU and Northern State.
SCSU's Jennifer Thompson led the Huskies with a first place finish in the 25 yard free at 11:45. SCSU's Scott Stellick also brought home a first place finish in the 3M diving event, while teammates Hanos Mahari and Evan Infante placed second and third respectively in the same event.
