St. Cloud State to celebrate HOMECOMING 2018 this week

Hey St. Cloud State Huskies fans and alumni! It is Homecoming Week on campus and its time to celebrate with the Huskies!
Here is a rundown of some of the St. Cloud State University athletic events that will be part of this week's fun schedule of events. Â
MONDAY - October 15
7 p.m. to 8 p.m.: SCSU Men's and Women's Basketball Showcase in Halenbeck Hall. Meet the 2018-19 SCSU men's and women's basketball teams and during the showcase, fans and current basketball student-athletes alike will have the opportunity to participate in a three-point and dunk contest. The St. Cloud State basketball teams will also play two full court scrimmages to end the evening. Free admission for eveyone.
WEDNESDAY - October 17
Noon: The official Homecoming Kick-off is slated for Wednesday, October 17 at 12:00 p.m. on Atwood Mall. Students will be welcomed by University leaders, spirit squads, and the men's and women's hockey teams at a celebration featuring a pep rally, Ferris wheel ride, games, free food and prizes. Events continue through the evening with Blizzard Shack, a student activities main stay on campus. Tickets are also available that night for the opening of KVSC's sixth season of Granite City Radio Theatre at Pioneer Place in downtown St. Cloud. Stop by Garvey Commons between Noon and 1 p.m. for the always entertaining SCSU Sports Chat with Mick Hatten (follow the show live online at sctimes.com/sports)
7:00 p.m. - Noted comedian and star of TV's Full House Dave Coulier will appear in Ritcshe Auditorium. Purchase tickets at SCSUTICKETS.com
FRIDAY - October 19
1:00 p.m. - SCSU soccer vs. Sioux Falls (Husky Stadium)
4:30 p.m. - SCSU cross country will host the Bob Waxlax Invitational at Wapicada G.C.
6:00 p.m. - Bonfire and pep rally (south of Herb Brooks National Hockey Center near Beaver Island Trail)
7:07 p.m. - SCSU men's hockey vs. Northern Michigan (HBNHC)
SATURDAY - October 20
8:30 a.m. - Registration begins for Homecoming 5K Fun Run (HBNHC)
11:00 a.m. - Homecoming Fan Fest (football pre-game fun and activities in pay lot south of Husky Stadium)
2:00 p.m. - SCSUÂ football vs. Upper Iowa (Husky Stadium)
6:07 p.m. - SCSU men's hockey vs. Northern Michigan (HBNHC)
SUNDAY - October 21
1:00 p.m. - SCSUÂ Soccer vs. Southwest Minnesota State (Husky Stadium)
