St. Cloud State and Central Missouri are each coming off of first round victories against teams from Oklahoma.
MAGNOLIA, Ark. – Coming off of a 5-2 victory over #3 seed, Central Oklahoma, the St. Cloud State baseball team continues their NCAA Tournament run on Friday, May 18 at 8:30 PM CT against the #2 seed, Central Missouri Mules.

GAME NOTES
- SCSU recorded their 30th win of the season last night against the Bronchos.
- Dom Austing tied a career high for strikeouts in a game with 12.
- Austing's 12 strikeouts in a game tie for seventh all-time in SCSU program history for strikeouts in a game by a St. Cloud State pitcher.
- Jackson Goplen is three RBI's away from recording his 50th RBI of the season.
- Kyle Boser is the expected starter for the Huskies against the Mules.
- Central Missouri entered the tournament after recording 30 or more wins for the 25th consecutive season.

Central Missouri's line-up consists of eight hitters who are hitting right around the .300 mark or above. Leading that charge is Travis Able (.387/.480/.450) and Mason Janvrin (.378/.464/.418). Collin Nevel leads the team in RBI's with 53 while Able trails with 51.
Erik Webb is has collected 45 RBI's on 65 hits while Mason Janvrin leads the team in hits with 84.
On the hill, the Mules are led by Luke Lucas who holds a 3.96 ERA in a team-high of 72.2 innings. Lucas tossed a five-hit, one run complete game gem against Oklahoma Baptist in their first round game.
The Huskies can expect to see junior right-hander, Ben Kelsch on Friday night. Kelsch has tossed 67.2 innings and struck out 53 while maintaining a 4.52 ERA. The righty is 5-1 on the year.
UCM's primary arms out of the pen all year have been Luke Mercer and Jonathan Sprinkle. Mercer has recorded nine saves, the third most in the MIAA in 2018. Mercer and Sprinkle have thrown 21 and 22 innings, respectively while they both hold a sub-three ERA.
