UTVS' Husky Mag receives top national award

St. Cloud State University's Husky Mag weekly sports television show, which is produced on campus by UTVS, recently received first place honors for the Best Sportscast (Video) at the 2019 College Broadcasters, Inc. National Students Productions Awards in St. Louis recently.
The CBI National Student Productions Awards receive over 1,000 entries in a wide-range of categories each year. The award were presented during CBI's convention, which took place in St. Louis, Mo. on Oct. 31-Nov. 2.
UTVS also received a third place award at the convention for Best Hard News Reporting (Video) for its story title "Fire Destroys Trailer Home in St. Cloud."
Husky Mag is a student produced television show through UTVS and the Mass Communications Department at St. Cloud State University. It airs on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. on UTVS' Charter Cable Channel 180.
