Former Husky makes major league baseball debut with the Miami Marlins

Former St. Cloud State University pitcher Nick Anderson made his major league debut with the Miami Marlins on Thursday, March 28. Anderson pitched in relief in the Marlin's home season opener 6-3 loss against the Colorado Rockies.
Anderson becomes the sixth former SCSU baseball player to see major league baseball action, and the first since Jim Eisenreich played in the majors from 1982 to 1998.
An All-Region and All-NSIC award winner in 2010, Anderson pitched for the Huskies from 2009 to 2011. Stories on Anderson's pitching debut are listed below:
