Men’s basketball adds Caleb Donaldson to recruit class

ST. CLOUD, MINN. – The St. Cloud State University men's basketball team isn't done adding to the 2019 recruiting class. The Huskies have added star-recruit Caleb Donaldson to the incoming class of 2019, the coaching staff announced Wednesday afternoon.
"We are very excited to add Caleb to our basketball program," St. Cloud State men's basketball head coach Matt Reimer said in a statement. "He possesses very good athleticism and the ability to play multiple positions. We look forward to Caleb having the ability to make an immediate impact on our team.
Meet the newest member of the St. Cloud State University men's basketball team: Caleb Donaldson
Donaldson, a native of Bloomington, Illinois, is the third high school player to sign with St. Cloud State this season. A 6'3 combo guard, Donaldson averaged an impressive 15.7 points, 3.1 assists and 1.7 per game during his senior season, and earned All-Conference and All-State honors in 2018-19. He was voted First Team All-Conference, Team MVP and All-State Honorable Mention after his senior season and was selected to play in the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Game this past winter. During the season, Donaldson earned Second Team honors at the All-Pontiac Holiday Classic.
