St. Cloud State Women’s Soccer Faces Northern State and Minnesota State Moorhead This Week

Huskies travel to Northern State on Friday, Host MSUM on Sunday

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – With three games left in the regular season St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (5-6-4, 4-4-4 NSIC) will play its penultimate road game and final home game of the season this week. First, the Huskies will travel to Northern State (7-3-5, 5-2-5 NSIC) on Friday, Oct. 21 at 5:30 p.m. CT, followed by its final home game of the season against Minnesota State Moorhead (2-8-3, 2-7-3 NSIC) on Sunday, Oct. 23 at 3:00 p.m. CT.

Last week, the Huskies split its two games, falling to Augustana, 2-0, on Oct. 14 before defeating Wayne State, 1-0, on Oct. 16. Freshman Jada Dachtler (Iowa City, Iowa) scored her third goal of the season and first career game-winning goal in the victory over the Wildcats, while redshirt sophomore Evie Kohn (West Lakeland, Minn.) registered her 11^th career shutout.

Northern State has not lost in the month of October, going 3-0-2 in their last five games, including a 1-0 win over Upper Iowa on Oct. 14. On the other side, Minnesota State Moorhead has won just once in its last five, going 1-2-2 in its last five games. The Dragons last won on Oct. 7 against Southwest Minnesota State, 3-1.
