Huskies fall in Aberdeen, will host Minnesota State Moorhead on Sunday

ABEERDEEN, S.D. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (5-7-4, 4-5-4 NSIC) fell to Northern State (8-3-5, 6-2-5 NSIC), 1-0, on Friday afternoon in Aberdeen, S.D. Northern State found the back of the net early in the second half to lead them to their eighth win of the season.

TURNING POINT

After a scoreless first half, NSU's Zagorski scored in the 60^th minute of the game. The goal gave the Wolves a 1-0 lead, and the Huskies failed to respond the remainder of the contest. Despite no scoring, the Huskies outshot the Wolves 18-10, and put 13 of their shots on goal.

TOP HUSKIES

Freshman Ellie Primerano (St. Joseph, Mich.) played the full 90 minutes, while putting all four of her shots on goal.
Freshman Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) recorded three shots on goal.
Redshirt sophomore Gracie Parsons (Omaha, Neb.) recorded a game leading five shots.

UP NEXT

The Huskies will be back in action on Sunday when the MSU Moorhead Dragons (2-9-3, 2-8-3 NSIC) come to Husky Stadium for a Homecoming contest. The game is slotted for a 3:00 p.m. CT start and will be streamed on the NSIC Network.
