
St. Cloud State Women’s Swim & Dive Set for NSIC Championships

Conference meet will take place Feb. 9-12 in Sioux Falls
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The St. Cloud State Women's Swim & Dive team is set to compete in the 2022 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, set to take place Wednesday, Feb. 9 – Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Midco Aquatic Center in Sioux Falls, S.D.
A live stream of the meet will be available through the NSIC Network. Swimming prelims will take place each day at 10:00 a.m. CT and finals at 5:30 p.m. CT. Diving will take place on Thursday and Saturday with prelims at 1 p.m. CT and finals in the evening with swimming events. All-Conference performers shall consist of the top three place finishers in each event and the members of the top two relay teams.
The Huskies have won the NSIC team title in five of seven years the conference has sponsored the sport, taking home the championship in 2012-13, 2013-14, 2016-17, 2018-19 and 2019-20. At last season's meet, the Huskies finished second behind Minnesota State Mankato with 858.5 points. Graduate student Madison Brinkman (Grey Eagle, Minn.) was named the NSIC Diver of the Year, while Kayla Deters was named the NSIC Diving Coach of the Year, the fifth consecutive season she won that honor.
