St. Cloud State Athletics Places 49 on NSIC Winter All-Academic List

31 Huskies earn Team of Excellence recognition
BURNSVILLE, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics had 49 student-athletes earn 2021-22 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Winter All-Academic recognition, as announced by the league on Wednesday. 31 Huskies earned Team of Excellence recognition, while four were named to the All-Academic Team.
Women's Swim & Dive led the way with 20 recipients, while women's track & field had nine recipients, women's basketball and wrestling each had eight and men's basketball had four.
To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher.
Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
