Ingram becomes 69th Husky NHL draft pick since 1986

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Hockey incoming freshman Adam Ingram (West St. Paul, Manitoba) was selected by the Nashville Predators in the third round (82^nd overall) of the 2022 NHL Draft on Friday in Montreal. Ingram is the 69^th Husky to be selected since the inauguration of the NHL Draft in 1986.

This past season (2021-22), Ingram played for the Youngstown Phantoms of the USHL, where he scored 55 points (26 goals / 29 assists) with a +10 mark while leading the team Phantoms to the playoffs. His 26 goals, 55 points, eight power play goals and 16 power play assists all ranked in the top-25 among the USHL.

Ingram joins three other Huskies on the active roster who are NHL draft pickings, joining Dominic Basse (Chicago / 2019 sixth round), Veeti Miettinen (Toronto / 2020 sixth round) and Jack Peart (Minnesota / 2021 second round).
