SCSU men and women to play 27 games in Halenbeck Hall in 2022-23
2022-23 MEN'S SCHEDULE | 2022-23 WOMEN'S SCHEDULE
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics officially announced its men's and women's basketball schedules for the 2022-23 seasons, as announced on Monday. The women's team is coming off a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Regular Season Championship and third consecutive NCAA Tournament bid under head coach Lori Fish, while the men's team enters its first season under head coach Quincy Henderson.
The Huskies basketball teams will play a combined 27 games in Halenbeck Hall in 2022-23, including key matchups against their top rivals in the NSIC. The women's team will kick off their season on Nov. 12 against non-conference opponent Valley City at Halenbeck Hall, while the men's team will open their season on the road in Kansas City, Mo., for the NSIC/MIAA/GAC Crossover tournament on November 11-12.
The Husky women will play 13 games at Halenbeck Hall over the 2022-23 season, including 11 against conference foes. St. Cloud State will open NSIC play at home against Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 22, and finish against Minnesota Crookston on Feb. 18.
For the men, the Huskies will play 14 games at Halenbeck Hall in Henderson's first season at the helm, including a nonconference matchup against Minnesota State Mankato to open the home slate on Nov. 15. Just like the women, the Huskies will open NSIC play at home against Minnesota Duluth on Nov. 22 and close against Minnesota Crookston on Feb. 18.
The NSIC Basketball Tournament will once again be played at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D., with the first round being played at home sites followed by the championship rounds at the Pentagon Feb. 25-28.
