St. Cloud State Men’s Hockey Releases 2023-24 Schedule

Nonconference slate includes St. Thomas, Minnesota State, Alaska, Michigan and Bemidji State
FULL SCHEDULE
ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Hockey finalized its 2023-24 schedule on Tuesday, adding five series with nonconference opponents to its schedule. Three opponents, St. Thomas, Minnesota State and Bemidji State, are return opponents from past seasons, while two opponents, Alaska and Michigan, return to the schedule for the upcoming season. The Huskies are coming off their fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022-23 and return numerous significant contributors, including Hobey Baker nominee senior defenseman Dylan Anhorn (Calgary, Alberta).
For the third straight season, St. Cloud State will open the 2023-24 season with a home-and-home series with St. Thomas, beginning with a home game at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center on Oct. 7 before a road game in St. Paul on Oct. 8. Next, the Huskies will head to Mankato to face Minnesota State Oct. 13-14 before returning home to host Alaska (Fairbanks) Oct. 20-21 at the Brooks Center. Following Thanksgiving, St. Cloud State will host Big Ten power Michigan for a series Nov. 24-25, which will be just the third and fourth ever games against the Wolverines, and the first since 2002.
St. Cloud State will finish nonconference play with a home-and-home series against Bemidji State, with the Huskies traveling to Bemidji on Dec. 29 before hosting the Beavers for a New Year's Eve tilt at the Brooks Center on Dec. 31.
In all, the Huskies will play 18 regular season games inside the Brooks Center in 2023-24 with NCHC series against Miami (Nov. 3-4), Minnesota Duluth (Nov. 17-18), North Dakota (Jan. 19-20), Omaha (Jan. 26-27), Western Michigan (Feb. 23-24) and Denver (March 1-2) already announced.
All dates listed for the 2023-24 schedule are subject to change and times are still to be announced.
