On the latest episode, head coach Brett Larson recaps the series split with Denver where the team fought through the flu and came from behind to win the second game 4-3 after dropping Friday's game 5-1. The Huskies are off until the new year where they head to the desert to play in the Coachella Valley Cactus Cup where they'll open up with Yale and play either Minnesota State or UMass Lowell in the second game.
No player guest this week as everyone's back home for the Christmas break, so we call in local alumni and former three-time team captain and current Sartell High School assistant coach Spencer "P" Meier.
The Brett Larson Show dives into all things St. Cloud State men's hockey, hosted by home television and road radio play-by-play voice Jim Erickson. Each Monday at 6 p.m. following a Husky Hockey series, Erickson sits down with head coach Brett Larson to break down the weekend's action, discuss team storylines, and preview what's ahead.
Mondays after home series feature Larson alongside one of his assistant coaches, while road-series episodes spotlight two current Husky student-athletes in the second half of the show.
