St. Cloud State Women’s Soccer Records Win, Sweeps First Road Trip

Primerano nets lone goal of the match, Huskies shut out UW-Parkside, 1-0
KENOSHA, Wis. – St. Cloud State Women's Soccer (3-1-0, 0-0-0 NSIC) blanked UW-Parkside (2-2-0, 0-0-0 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference), 1-0 in its second match of the weekend on Sunday afternoon at Wood Road Field in Kenosha, Wis. The Huskies took the decisive 1-0 lead in the 31st minute.
TURNING POINT
Junior forward Ellie Primerano (Saint Joseph, Mich.) found the back of the net in the 31st minute off assists from junior midfielder Brooke Quam (Lakeville, Minn.) and senior forward Krysten Schuster (Beamsville, Ontario) for the only goal of the game.

- With the win, St. Cloud State earns its first win over the Rangers and move to 1-5-0 all-time against UW-Parkside.
- The Huskies posted more shots (18-13) and shots on goal (7-3) than UWP.
- Primerano has two goals this season and six in her career.
- Schuster recorded her second assist of the season and fourth of her Husky career.
- Quam posted her first assist of the season and 12th of her career.
- Orham, Quam, sophomore defender Ana Spaine (West Des Moines, Iowa) and freshman defender Izzy Halunen (Woodbury, Minn.) each played the full 90 minutes for the Huskies.
- Sophomore forward Linsey Trapino (Verona, Wis.) led the Huskies with three shots (two on goal).
- Primerano, Schuster, redshirt senior midfielder Gracie Parsons (Omaha, Neb.) and sophomore defender Grace Olson (West Des Moines, Iowa) all recorded two shots.
