6’9 center hails from Eagan, MN.
St. Cloud, Minn. – St. Cloud State Men's Basketball Head Coach Quincy Henderson announced the addition of Kevin Kemp to the program on Thursday. Kemp will be attending St. Cloud State in the fall of 2026.
A 6'9 center from Eagan, Minnesota, Kevin Kemp played high school ball in his hometown at Eagan High School. This past season in his junior campaign, Kemp averaged 10.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while blocking 1.5 shots per game. He also spent time playing AAU with MN Select. Kemp is a two-sport athlete at Eagan where he is also a pitcher for their baseball team.
"Kevin had an exceptional summer on the AAU circuit with MN Select under Mitch Ohnstad's guidance," said Henderson. "He has great length and mobility for his size, and he will help bolster our interior play. His ability to rebound and provide rim protection will serve him well in the NSIC. He is poised for a big senior season with Coach McKenzie's Eagan Wildcats, and we look forward to following his continued progress and can't wait to work with him next fall!"
