
Lucas Morgan and Anish Ramlall named to CSC Academic All-District Team

Morgan and Ramlall cited by CSC for academic and athletic performances
St. Cloud, Minn. Two St. Cloud State Men's Basketball student-athletes has been named to the 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). Sophomores Lucas Morgan and Anish Ramlall earned the honor for their success in the classroom and on the court.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15, 2025 (men) and April 16, 2025 (women). To qualify for Academic All-District® Honors, a student athlete must carry a 3.50 or better grade point average and have competed in at least 90% of the team's total games played or have started at least 66% of the team's total games played.
Morgan carried a 3.59 GPA as an accounting major. On the court, Morgan started and played in all 32 games for the Huskies. He averaged 11.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.7 stocks while shooting 45.1% from the field, 37% from three, and 82.8% from the free throw line.
Ramlall held a 3.55 GPA as a management major. He started in 16 games while playing in all 32 games. Ramlall scored 7.3 points per game while shooting 34.2% from the field, 29.9% from three, and 80% from the free throw line. He also tallied 2.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.
