Eight Huskies Added to NCHC Academic All-Conference

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – St. Cloud State Men's Hockey had eight freshmen and first-year transfers added to the National Collegiate Hockey Conference Academic All-Conference Team, as announced by the league on Monday. The group of eight Huskies were among 91 freshmen and first-year transfers added to total 222 Academic All-Conference and 159 Distinguished Scholar Athletes league-wide for the 2024-25 season.

To earn a spot on the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team, a student-athlete must compile a 3.0 cumulative grade-point average (or better) and have completed a full academic year at their current institution. Similarly, to garner NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete honors, a student-athlete must attain a 3.5 cumulative GPA or better with a full year of academic studies. Freshmen and first-year transfers were not eligible when NCHC academic accolades were first announced in late February. Athletic success and playing time are not criteria for these awards.

In February, 16 Huskies were named to the NCHC Academic All-Conference Team.
