
St. Cloud State Men’s Basketball Announces 2025-2026 Schedule

Huskies to host 13 games at Halenbeck Hall
St. Cloud, Minn.- St. Cloud State Men's Basketball has announced their 2025-2026 schedule. The Huskies are set to play 28 games with 13 coming at Halenbeck Hall. The schedule will consist of five non-conference opponents and 23 games against Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) teams. SCSU will open up their season on Friday, November 14 against Northwest Missouri.
The Huskies will begin their season on the road for the first five games of the year. They will begin regular season play in St. Joseph, Missouri to play in the Hillyard Tipoff Classic as they take on Northwest Missouri and Emporia State on November 14 and November 15. Traveling back up to Minnesota, St. Cloud State will face-off against Lake Superior State on November 21 and Michigan Tech on November 22 in the St. Louis County Basketball Classic in Duluth. The final leg of the five-game road trip will come in a playoff rematch against Minnesota State on November 25 which will be their conference opener. The Huskies home opener will then follow the road trip as they face off against Minnesota Crookston on November 29 in what will be a non-conference game.
St. Cloud State will resume NSIC play on December 3 as they take on Concordia-St. Paul on the road. The Huskies will then start a three-game homestand where they will play Winona State, Augustana, and Wayne State on December 6, December 11, and December 13 respectively. The final two games of 2025 will come away from Halenbeck Hall as they face Sioux Falls on December 18 and Southwest Minnesota State on December 20.
To kick off 2026, the Huskies will take on Minnesota State on January 3 and Martin Luther College on January 4 at Halenbeck Hall before embarking on a trip to North Dakota to face Minot State and UMary on January 9 and January 10. SCSU will then return home for two weekends where they will battle against Bemidji State, Minnesota Duluth, NSIC newcomer Jamestown, and Northern State on January 16, 17, 23, and 24. The game against Minnesota Duluth will be the annual MLK Game Day for the Huskies. The month of January will be closed out on the road as St. Cloud State plays the reigning NSIC Champion in MSU Moorhead on January 30 and Minnesota Crookston on January 31.
February will begin with the Huskies taking on Southwest Minnesota State and Sioux Falls at Halenbeck Hall on February 5 and February 7. Traveling southwest, SCSU will go to Wayne, Nebraska to face Wayne State and then to Sioux Falls, South Dakota to play Augustana on February 12 and 14. The final regular season home game will come against Concordia-St. Paul on February 18 with the regular season finale taking place on February 21 against Winona State on the road.
The first round of the NSIC Tournament is set for February 25 and will take place at home sites. Seeds 5-12 will play in the first round with the highest seed hosting. Teams seeded 1-4 will receive a bye to the quarterfinals. Following the first round, the remaining teams will travel to the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, S.D. to battle for the NSIC Tournament Championship. The tournament will start on February 28 and last until March 3.
