2013: Anderson made four appearances for the Huskies on the mound in 2013...pitched 5.2 innings and charted a 4.76 ERA, which included eight strikeouts and three earned runs allowed...started one game and had a season game-high five strikeouts against Minnesota Crookston on April 2, 2013.
2012: Made nine appearances and two starts during his sophomore season on the Husky pitching staff…owned a solid 2.30 earned run average after throwing 15.2 innings…went 1-1 on the hill…went a season-high seven innings and earned a win in his first start of the season against Hawaii-Hilo (March 7)…allowed just four runs on six hits…struck out 16 total batters…had five multi-strike out games…batters hit a team season-low .120 against the righty.
2011: Made 11 appearances on the mound in his freshman season…pitched 11.1 total innings…went a perfect 1-0 on the hill…owned a 5.56 earned run average…struck out 16 batters…gave up seven earned runs…made longest appearance against UMC (May 1) in four innings of work, where he struck out five batters.
HIGH SCHOOL: A 2010 graduate of Blue Earth High School, where he played under coach Todd Schmidtke…a four-time letterwinner in baseball…named to the All-Conference and All-Area team three times… one of five finalists for Mr. Baseball in Minnesotal in 2010...a three-time letter winner in football and basketball…a two-time All-State honorable mention selection in basketball…a three-time All-Conference and All-Area team member…named All-Conference and All-Area twice in football…named the 2010 Blue Earth H.S. Athlete of the Year…scored over 1,000 points and is the career leading rebounder at Blue Earth…career leader in strikeouts…once scored five touchdowns in a game.
PERSONAL: The son of David and Sheri Anderson of Blue Earth…lists T.J. Schmidtke as the person with the greatest influence on his career…named playing in the Lion’s All-Star game and Team Minnesota as his greatest sports thrill…enjoys hunting and fishing outside of baseball…recreation and sports management major at SCSU...has pitched in the Northwoods League with Brainerd, St. Cloud, Mankato and Battle Creek...he was born on Feb. 29 in a leap year.
