2021: Did not appear in the 2021 season due to injury...

2020: Season shortened by COVID-19...appeared in three games out of the Huskies bullpen, earning the win in each appearance...finished 3-0 with a 2.63 ERA across 13.2 frames...struck out 15 while walking just four...held opposing hitters to a .235 batting average...opened his season with 5.0 innings of relief on February 14 against Washburn, allowing a lone unearned run while scattering five hits, one walk and punching out eight to receive the win...2020 NSIC All-Academic Team...

2019: Posted a 3-3 record in 2019 with a 2.91 ERA...had 55 strikeouts in 46.1 innings pitched and also posted two saves for SCSU...charted eight strikeouts vs. Northern State on April 27...also had five strikeouts apiece in games against Missouri S&T and Upper Iowa in 2019...earned Academic All-NSIC honors in 2019...will serve as a team captain in 2020.

2018: As a sophomore, Ahern was 7-1 with a 5.44 ERA through 51.1 innings pitched... Started five games and made 13 appearances... Recorded one complete game... Struck out 36 batters and only allowed 12 walks... Earned All-NSIC Gold Glove honors as a pitcher...

2017: In his freshman season, Ahern recorded a 2-3 record with a 5.04 ERA over 44.2 innings pitched... Started six games for the Huskies and made 15 total appearances in 2017... Only surrendered nine walks while striking out 32 batters on the season... Also recorded one complete game shutout... Batted 1.000 in one at-bat with one double...

Before SCSU: A 2016 graduate of The Academy of Holy Angels, where he played for coaches Jim Page and Mike Rothstein...a 3X letter-winner in baseball...gained All-Conference and All-Section honors twice during his prep baseball career..served as a team captain during his junior and senior seasons...plays town ball for the Miesville Mudhens during the summer...honor roll student in high school.
