Alstead is a catcher/outfielder, who attended Owatonna H.S… played for coaches Tate Cummins, Travis Hilstad and Brandon Wolf… played American Legion baseball for Owatonna Post 77 and coach Adam Troutman. Alstead intends to major in criminal justice at SCSU and he is the son of Jason and Kelli Alstead. Jason Alstead is a former SCSU baseball standout who went on to play professional baseball in the Baltimore Orioles organization.
