2018-19: In his final season with the Huskies, Smith played and started all 33 games for St. Cloud State. He earned Second Team All-Conference honors and was named the NSIC Defensive Player of the Year after shattering the program records for career, single-season and single-game blocks during the 2018-19 season. In total, Smith scored 421 points (13.6/game) and tallied 232 rebounds, 95 assists, a school-record 113 blocks and 35 steals during the year. In addition to breaking his own record for single-season blocks, Smith broke the record for both career (201) and single-game (8) blocks and led the nation in both blocks and blocks/game throughout the season. Smith was a two-time NSIC Player of the Week honoree and scored a career-high 30 points against MSU-Moorhead on January 26.

2017-18: Named All-NSIC Honorable Mention in 2018...started in all 33 games for the Huskies...averaged 11.5 ppg (380 points)...led team 263 rebounds (8.0 rpg) and 88 blocked shots...30 steals and 94 assists...shot 144-of-224 from the floor with six threes...86-of-129 from the line...NSIC Player of the Week on Feb. 5, 2018.

Prior to St. Cloud: Played at Southwest Mississippi Community College for the last two seasons...played in 27 games and averaged 2.9 points and 4.9 rebounds per game while shooting 55.6 percent from the field (30-for-54) and 57.1 percent from the free throw line (16-for-28)...hauled in 133 rebounds...had 78 points and 42 blocks (1.6 per game)...averaged two points and two rebounds a game during the 2015-16 season in leading the Bears to their first state title in 53 years...attended Canarias Basketball Academy, where he helped lead the program to two state championships.
