Bio
2020-21: Hammer put together a breakout year in his final season with the Huskies. An Academic All-NCHC team selection, NCHC Scholar Athlete and third place finisher for the Derek Hines Unsung Hero Award, Hammer appeared in all 31 games for St. Cloud State as a member of the team's fourth line. He tallied nine points during the season, including three goals and six assists, with 15 blocks and a +/- of +2. Hammer tallied his first multi-point game of the season in a 5-4 win over No. 5 Minnesota State at the NCAA Frozen Four, scoring the Huskies third goal of the game.
2019-20: Named to 2020 Academic All-NCHC team...selected as an NCHC Distinguished Scholar-Athlete in 2020...played in 32 games in 2019-20...scored first college goal at Northern Michigan on Nov. 8, 2019...charted first collegiate assist at Denver on Jan. 11, 2020...also had a goal and two points vs. DU on Jan. 11, 2020...scored a goal vs. Colorado College on Nov. 15, 2019 at the HBNHC...scored three goals, one assist, 28 shots and 14 blocks in 2019-20...+3 on the plus/minus.
