Rhett Stensrude began his first year as an assistant coach with the program in the fall of 2017. His in-season responsibilities include scouting, recruiting, practice operations and individual workouts with focus on the team’s perimeter players.

The Prior Lake, Minn. native attended the University of Minnesota where he obtained his degree in business and marketing education with a minor in sport management.

While at Minnesota, Stensrude worked for two years as a student manager for the men’s basketball team and head coach Richard Pitino.

During the summers, he helps directs the St. Cloud State men’s basketball camps and individual basketball lessons.

Stensrude is currently working toward his master’s degree in educational administration at St. Cloud State.
