Travis Zins serves as the strength and conditioning coach for the St. Cloud State athletic department.
He has been instrumental in creating the Huskies' strength and conditioning program during his tenure on campus.
As a collegiate athlete for the SCSU men's track and field program, Zins was one of the best throwers in SCSU history and not surprisingly coached the men's and women's throwers as an assistant with the program.

A four-time national participant, he is also a four-time North Central Conference champion and two-time All-American in the shot put. He was the national runner up in the 2000 Division II Indoor National Championships and received All-NCC honors numerous times in the shot put, discus, hammer, and weight throw.
A native of Nicollet, Minn., Zins received his bachelor’s of science in physical education in 2002 from SCSU and is currently working towards his master’s of science in exercise science from SCSU.
Zins, his wife Stacie and daughter Caylin, reside in St. Cloud, Minn.
