SCSU Volleyball at Home This Week

St. Cloud, Minn.- The St. Cloud State volleyball will host Minnesota-Crookston, Minot State and the University of Mary this week in Halenbeck Hall. The Huskies first match-up is against Minnesota-Crookston Tuesday, Oct. 14 at 7:00 p.m.

St. Cloud State Notes:

The Huskies are coming off of two NSIC losses against Concordia-St. Paul (0-3) and Minnesota State (1-3).
SCSU is 7-11 overall and 1-9 in the NSIC.
Erin Ohlemann (Golden Valley, Minn.) has totaled 623 assists this season, averaging 10.21 assists per set. This ranks Ohlemann sixth in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) recorded 314 digs this season, averaging 5.15 digs per set, ranking Stamer second in the NSIC.
Offensively, Kaitlin Doughty (Tomahawk, Wis.) leads the Huskies in kills with 158, averaging 2.59 kills per set.
Kellan Flynn (Tomahawk, Wis.) has recorded a team-high 47 blocks.
The Huskies hold a .194 attack percentage as a team, averaging 12.85 kills per set, and rank 11^th in the conference.

University of Minnesota-Crookston Notes:

The Golden Eagles are coming off two losses to Winona State (0-3) and Upper Iowa (2-3)
Crookston is 8-10 overall and 2-7 in the NSIC.
Brittany Looker leads the Golden Eagles in kills with 296 this season, averaging 4.48 kills per set, ranking her first in the NSIC. Looker also ranks fourth in the conference in service aces with a total of 25 this season.
Sierra Trost has recorded a team-high 574 assists, averaging 8.7 assists per set. This ranks Trost tenth in the conference.
Stephanie Pearson leads the Golden Eagles defensively with a total of 178 digs. Pearson averages 2.83 digs per set.
Head coach Lee Anderson is in his eighth season with the University of Minnesota, Crookston.

Minot State University Notes:

The Beavers are 4-14 overall and 2-8 in conference play.
Minot State is coming off of two losses against Augustana (0-3) and Wayne State (0-3).
Jen Dixon leads the Beavers in kills with 242, averaging 3.61 kills per set. Dixon is ranked tenth in the conference in attack percentage.
Mallory Sall has also impacted the Beavers offensively with 212 kills this season. Sall averages 3.93 kills per set, ranking her fourth in the conference.
Emily Byrne has tallied 648 assists, averaging 9.67 assists per set. This ranks Byrne eighth in the NSIC.
Cindy Pelo recorded a team-high 266 digs on the season, averaging 3.97 digs per set.
Head coach Travis Ward is in his fourth season with the Beavers.

University of Mary Notes:

The Marauders are 3-16 overall and 0-10 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
Lauren Randall leads the Marauders in kills with 159 this season, averaging 2.48 kills per set.
Alex Brown leads U-Mary in digs with 295, averaging 4.61 digs per set. This ranks Brown sixth in the conference.
Janell Finkbeiner posted 310 assists on the season, averaging 5.54 assists per set.
Head coach Melissa Chaplin is in her first season with the Marauders.
