Huskies Soccer ties Concordia University 0-0 in Double Overtime

St. Cloud Minn.----In a back and forth contest the Huskies (3-8-1, 4-10-1 NSIC) and Concordia (3-7-2, 4-9-2 NSIC) played to a 0-0 double overtime tie at Husky Stadium on Friday, Oct. 24.
Junior Forward, Gabby Fleck, led the Huskies in shots with 5 total shots taken and 3 recorded on net. Senior, Taige Thoreson followed with 1 out of 4 shots taken hitting the net and almost scoring for the Huskies. Thoreson is currently leading the Huskies in points with 10 points on the season (4G, 2A) and has 46 shots on net.
The teams recorded a close shot chart in Friday night's game, with the shots being 17-16 in favor of the St. Cloud State Huskies. Both goalies recorded 6 saves on the night, and both received shut-outs. This marks Kenzie Hanzlik's second shut-out of her senior year and moves her record in net to 2-5-1 on the season.
