SCSU Volleyball Falls to MSU Moorhead

Moorhead, Minn. – The St. Cloud State volleyball was defeated by MSU Moorhead this evening. The Huskies lost to the Dragons in three straight sets with final scores of 20-25, 20-25 and 28-30.
St. Cloud State falls to 7-15 overall and 1-13 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC). MSU Moorhead improves to 10-12 overall and 5-9 in conference play.
First year Isabella Nelson (Luck, Wis.) led the Huskies offensively with nine kills. Sophie Jaskulske (Maplewood, Minn.) followed close behind with eight kills, averaging a .368 attack percentage.
Erin Ohlemann (Golden Valley, Minn.) recorded 21 assists, 9 digs and 4 blocks.
Defensively, Brianne Stamer (Hutchinson, Minn.) totaled 21 digs.
Maggie Gruber led the Dragons with 15 kills.
The Huskies return to action tomorrow afternoon as they take on Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D. at 6 p.m. Northern State is 15-7 over and 8-6 in the NSIC. The Wolves are coming off of a loss to Minnesota Duluth (0-3).
