St. Cloud State to offer volleyball youth camps and clinics in 2016

The St. Cloud State University volleyball team and head coach Chad Braegelmann are excited to announce the Huskies' youth volleyball winter clinics and summer camp schedules for 2016.
The St. Cloud State Volleyball Winter Skills Clinics will take place on weekend evenings on January 24 and March 12, 13, 19 and 20 from 6:30-8:00 pm. Each date will feature the following options: Attacking Clinic, Setting Clinic, Defensive/Passing Clinic. You can choose one clinic per day. Coaches will split players up in age appropriate groups and work on their specific skills for approximately 75 minutes before combining for some games.
The Winter Clinics are open to all youth in grades 5-12, and the cost is $15 per clinic.
The summer camp features two camps, the Huskies Skills Camp and the Huskies Elite Camp.
The Huskies Skills Camp is a $220 Day camp from Monday, July 25 to Wednesday July 27. The camp will focus on the development of the six basic volleyball skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking, digging and blocking). Campers will have the opportunity to apply the skills learned in competition throughout camp with various games, competitions and 6-on-6 play.
The Skills Camp is open to all youth in grades 4-9.

The Huskies Elite Camp is available as both an overnight resident camp, $335 or as a day camper for $295 from Thursday, July 28th to Saturday July 30th. This camp is designed for campers with varsity or club volleyball experience and/or those thinking of playing in college. Each session is designed to help campers improve fundamental individual skills (serving, passing, setting, attacking,digging and blocking). Campers will have the opportunity to apply the skills learned in competition
