The Huskies jumped out to a 3-0 lead after two inning and then pushed their lead to 7-1 after three innings of play. Â SCSU added two more runs in the fourth inning and four in the sixth inning to complete the offense. Â On the day, SCSU outhit the Beavers 16-6.
Mike Jurgella paced the club with one home run, four hits and two RBIs. Â Zach Hoffmann also had three hits and one homer in the game for the Huskies and Karl Sorensen had three hits and three RBIs. Logan Spitzack was the pitcher of record with 5.0 innings of work with four strikeouts and five hits allowed.
