SCSU Men's Golf captures title at 2015 Huskies Invite

The St. Cloud State University men's golf team's Red Squad captured the team championship and Jack Barnhart earned medalist honors at the 2015 SCSU Huskies Invite tournament that was held at the St. Cloud Country Club on Sept. 27-28.
Barnhart paced the pack with a winning two round total of 139 (71-68), which placed him at five under par for the tournament. As a team, SCSU won top honors with a two-day one under par total of 575 (292-283). Bemidji State and Winona State were tied for second in the tournament with scores of 598, while Augustana was third at 601.
Riley Duncanson, who was competing for the St. Cloud State Black squad today, and David Scharenbroich (SCSU Red) finsihed in a tie for third place in the individual standings. Duncanson tallied a 146 (74-72) and Scharenbroich also posted a 146 (77-69) in tournament play. SCSU's other top 10 placer was Chase Hahne (SCSU Red), who placed sixth with a score of 147 (73-74).
The Huskies will continue their 2015 season on Oct. 5-6 with a trip to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference fall meet at the Jewel in Lake City, Minn.
