St. Cloud State Huskies Football Announces 2016 Recruiting Class

St. Cloud, Minn. -- St. Cloud State University head football coach Scott Underwood and his staff announced the commitments of 40 high school athletes to the Huskies program today (Feb. 3), the first day of signing. The incoming class includes athletes from Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.

"We are very excited about this group of young men that have decided to join our program!," exclaimed head coach Scott Underwood, who begins his ninth season at the helm of the Huskies.

"We feel that this group is very athletic with top-end talent and will provide quality depth at all positions. I have been extremely impressed by the developing chemistry and leadership qualities demonstrated by this group from the beginning of the recruiting process to signing day."

St. Cloud State posted an eighth straight winning season last fall with a 6-5 overall record. The Huskies will open the 2016 season at home on Thursday, Sept. 1, against Sioux Falls at 6 p.m.
