SCSU baseball improves to 14-0 with victory over Mount Marty

SCSU jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead in the contest and then added three more runs in the second inning. The Huskies stretched their lead to 14-3 with six runs in the fourth inning. SCSU finished the game with two runs apiece in the fifth and sixth innings. Mount Marty scored all of its runs in the fourth inning.
At the plate, the Huskies' Beau Fandel, Zak Hoffman, Alex Naasz and Zach Metzger all had home runs in the game, while Kyle Lieser and Karl Sorensen had two doubles apiece in the game. In the game, SCSU outhit Mount Marty 21-6.
Tyler Gentz was the pitcher of record for SCSU with four hits and four runs allowed in five innings pitched. He also had three strikeouts in the game. Kyle Boser finished the game with two hits and two strikeouts.
