SCSU men's golf opens spring schedule with 8th place finish at Wasburn

The St. Cloud State men's golf team opened the spring portion of its 2015-16 schedule with an 8th place finish at the 2016 Washburn Invitational on March 14-15. The tournament was held on the links at the par-71, 6,647-yard Topeka Country Club.

Troy Ryynanen led the Huskies with a 24th place finish at 230 (78-74-78), while Jack Barnhart placed 38th at 235 (77-81-77). Chase Hahne placed 51st at 242 (80-82-80) along with David Scharenbroich (79-81-82) and Riley Duncanson (84-79-79).

The Huskies tallied 943 points as a team, while Washburn led the group with a score of 873. Complete team scores are listed below:
