The St. Cloud State University women's swim and dive team competed in two events at the 2017 NCAA Division II women's swimming and diving championships on Friday, March 10 at the Crossplex in Birmingham, Ala.

In the 100 backstroke, Emily Tiedemann placed 21st with a time of 56:81. The Huskies finished their day of racing at the Crossplex with a 17th place finish in the 800 free relay. The Huskies foursome of Madeline Franklin, Bridget Opdahl, Ashley Wilson and Andrea Bryson posted a time of 7:37.70 in the morning session.

In the final day of the championships on Mar. 11, Bryson will swim in the 100 freestyle event and she will also take part in the 400 freestyle relay event along with teammates Tiedemann, Gehrke and Opdahl. The finals on Mar. 11 are scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m.
