No. 1 Huskies take on Finn Grinaker Open this Saturday in Moorhead

St. Cloud, Minn. – No. 1 St. Cloud State Wrestling begins their 2021-22 competition schedule with the Finn Grinaker Open in Moorhead, Minnesota on Saturday. Held by Concordia-Moorhead, the Open will begin at 9:00 a.m. CST. Live stats are available on TrackWrestling.
Joseph Bianchini (141) and Devin Donovan (174) each took first at the 2019 Finn Grinaker, while Billy Pitzner took third at 184.
SCSU's roster features six ranked wrestlers – No. 1 Joseph Bianchini at 141, No. 2 Garrett Vos and Kameron Teacher at 133 and 285, No. 3 Colby Njos at 157, No. 5 Noah Ryan at 197 and No. 8 Billy Pitzner at 184. Devin Donovan and Paxton Creese return as starters, while Nicholas Novak and Cameron Riggs scored impressive wins at the 2021 Black and Red Classic.
The Huskies will compete at the Dakota Wesleyan Open on November 13, then the program begins their dual schedule on November 20 at Halenbeck Hall against Lake Erie College.
