St. Cloud State announces changes to basketball weekend series

ST. CLOUD, MINN. - The St. Cloud State University athletics department announced changes to the Huskies men's and women's basketball series against Concordia-St. Paul and Minnesota State. In compliance with Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) COVID-19 policies and return to play protocols, the men's games against the Golden Bears and Mavericks have been canceled.
The men will now play Concordia-St. Paul at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10 in a nonconference game per NSIC guidelines. A date and time has not been finalized for the Huskies game against Minnesota State.Â
As a result of the men's postponement, the women will now play the Golden Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 7. Saturday's game against the Mavericks will remain at 5:30 p.m. Any further changes will be updated on St. Cloud State's website and social media pages.
