Meet the 2023 St. Cloud State Men's Basketball Recruits
Anish Ramlall - 6'3" (Rosemount, MN / Rosemount High School)
Ramlall will join the Huskies lineup in 2023 after an impressive career at Rosemount High School. As a junior, Anish averaged 14.6 points, 4 assists, 4 rebounds and 2 steals per game. He was named to the South Suburban All-Conference team, All-Defensive team and served as team captain. In addition, Ramlall played AAU for Minnesota WOTN (Wear Out The Net).
Lance Walsten (Rosemount HS Boys Basketball Coach) - "Anish is a player that can do everything! He can shoot the ball from deep and put it on the floor and finish at the rim. He also gets it done on the defensive end using his length and instincts to make plays. Anish possesses a great work ethic and desire to win."
Cole Bertsch (WOTN AAU Coach) - "Anish is a natural leader with the drive and discipline to reach his goals, it's what makes him so successful both on and off the court. Between his leadership, talent and basketball IQ, most would agree the Huskies got a good one."
St. Cloud State Head Coach Quincy Henderson - "Anish is a special player. It was clear early on that he has a love for the game and wants to be great. He is a skilled player that plays both ends of the floor and he brings all of the intangibles to the table as well. Husky fans will enjoy watching him compete and grow over his time here at SCSU. We are excited to watch his senior season at Rosemount and look forward to working with him next season."

Wyatt Hawks - 6'7" (White Bear Lake, MN / White Bear Lake High School)
Hawks signs with the Huskies after a successful junior year at White Bear Lake High School where he averaged 12 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists, and 1 block per game. He was named First Team All Suburban East Conference. Hawks additionally played for the Minnesota Northstar Titans on the summer AAU circuit. His parents, Brad and Kathy Hawks, are both St. Cloud State graduates.
Greg Burke (White Bear Lake High School Boys Basketball Coach) - "Wyatt has been a breath of fresh air to coach! In an age where everybody thinks it's about them, he is all about his teammates and others. In my twenty years of coaching college and high school basketball, I haven't had a player show the kind of growth on the court that Wyatt has. He is a true student athlete and high character individual who will be a great ambassador for SCSU on and off the court. I look forward to watching him as a Husky!"
Derek Stone (Northstar Titans AAU Basketball Coach) - "Wyatt is an excellent player and young man. He's a beast inside and on the glass. I loved coaching him and I'm excited to watch his success with the Huskies."
St. Cloud State Head Coach Quincy Henderson - "Through the evaluation process the one thing that reverberated with Wyatt, was his consistency. He was not afraid to mix it up inside, he rebounded, and he competed at a high level. He had a great junior campaign at White Bear High, and I would expect him to follow that up with a great senior season. He is an excellent addition to the 2023 class."
