Huskies record nine top-five finishes, including event wins at the Warhawk Invitational and Multi

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – St. Cloud State Women's Track & Field was in competition in three different meets over the weekend, as the Huskies recorded nine top-five finishes at the Holst Invitational in St. Paul, Minn., and the Warhawk Invitational and Multi in Whitewater, Wis. St. Cloud State also had two athletes run in the 10,000m run at the Phil Esten Challenge in La Crosse, Wis.

Senior Hannah Arason (Grand Forks, N.D.) and graduate Maya Taylor (Oswego, Ill.) provided three event wins over the weekend for the Huskies, as Arason won the 100m hurdles and javelin and Taylor won the triple jump at the Warhawk Invitational and Multi.

NOTABLE FINISHES

Arason clocked a wind-aided time of 15.05 in the 100m hurdles and a mark of 42.91m (140-9) in the javelin to earn her event wins.
In the triple jump, Taylor posted a wind-aided mark of 11.89m (39-0.25).
At the Holst Invitational, sophomore Kasey Parish (South Victoria, Australia) finished second in the javelin with a mark of 36.78m (120-8)
Senior Clara Welhouse (Green Bay, Wis.) posted a personal record time of 2:22.11 in the 800m run at the Holst Invitational
