St. Cloud State places 37 on NSIC Spring All-Academic List

Softball places 15, Track & Field places 11, Baseball adds seven and Tennis places four

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – St. Cloud State Athletics saw 37 student-athletes earn 2023 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Spring All-Academic recognition as announced by the league on Wednesday. 22 Huskies earned Team of Excellence recognition while 15 were named to the All-Academic Team.

Softball led the way with 15 recipients and Track & Field had 11 while Baseball posted seven and Tennis produced four.

To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher.

Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her institution (true freshmen, redshirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and must have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
