Greta Henderson Scores Three in Huskies 5-1 Victory over Bemidji

Gentry, Kaufman also scored for the Huskies
BEMIDJI, Minn. — The St. Cloud State women's hockey team (16-15-2, 11-14-2 WCHA) took down conference foe Bemidji State (4-27-2, 3-23-1 WCHA) by a score of 5-1 on Friday night.
HATTY FOR HENDY
Freshman Greta Henderson (Regina, Saskatchewan) started scoring for the Huskies at the 11:45 mark of the first period. Devyn Millwater (Victoria, British Columbia) and Maddy Peterson (Princeton, Minn.) would pick up assists on goal number one. In the final frame, Henderson would score her second and third goals of the game less than two minutes apart for her first career multi point and multi goal game.
TEAM EFFORT
Katie Kaufman (Lake Elmo, Minn.) and Emma Gentry (Alpena, Mich.) would also tally goals for the Huskies. Gentry would score at the 12:01 mark of the second period and get credited for the game winning goal with the Huskies second goal of the night. Kaufman would score at the 17:25 mark of the middle frame to put St. Cloud State up 3-1.
The Beavers were able to tally one goal in the first game coming at the 11:14 mark of the third period. The Beavers were on the power play as Maddy Peterson would get called for slashing. Seconds after Peterson would leave the box, Beaver Shelby Breiland would beat netminder Jojo Chobak (Chicago, Ill.) to make the score 3-1.
Chobak would stop 17 of 18 shots faced in the victory over the Beavers including five shots on the power play. The Huskies went two-for-two on the penalty kill and one-for-three on the power play, tallying eight shots on goal on the player advantage.
