Gentry, Sauriol score for the Huskies
MADISON, WIS. — The St. Cloud State Women's Hockey Team (15-12-1, 10-11-1 WCHA) was taken down by a score of 5-2 on Sunday versus No. 2 Wisconsin (24-4-0, 18-4-0 WCHA) at LaBahn Arena.
The Huskies opened scoring again in game two as freshman Alice Sauriol (Sherbrooke, Quebec) tallied her sixth goal of the season. The Badgers were quick to fire back, scoring their own goal less than three minutes later. Wisconsin would score three more goals while keeping St. Cloud State's offense at bay.
Captain Taylor Lind (Shaunavon, Saskatchewan) would net her sixth goal of the season as Ava Murphy would get called for cross-checking, sending the Huskies to their third power play of the game. Lind's goal came at the 11:02 mark of the third period and would be the last goal scored by the team.
St. Cloud State was down by a pair of goals when they pulled netminder Sanni Ahola (Helsinki, Finland). Lacey Eden would capitalize on the empty net opportunity, putting the Badgers up by three.
That is all game number two of the series would see as the Huskies head back to St. Cloud with one point on the weekend.

The Huskies are back this upcoming weekend taking on conference foe, the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. Friday's contest will be at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center. On Saturday, the Huskies will travel to Minneapolis to take on the Gophers at Ridder Arena.
