Bio
2018: In his final season with the Huskies, Hartman earned First Team All-NSIC honors, as he was statistically the top tight end in the NISC North Division. He led all active tight ends in receptions (19), receiving yards (295) and touchdowns (4) at the end of 2018 and averaged a healthy 13.95 yards per catch during the year. As a blocker and member of the offensive line, Hartman helped the Huskies rush for 1560 total yards in 2018, which ranked seventh overall and fourth amongst teams in the North Division.
2017: As a junior, Hartman earned Second Team All-NSIC honors after an outstanding season at tight end. Hartman led all Husky tight ends in receiving with 13 catches for 107 yards and two touchdowns in 2017 and helped SCSU rush for 1783 yards as a team during the season.
2015: Played in 10 games … recorded one catch for one yard and a touchdown against Augustana (9/12).
2014 Season: Redshirted season to maintain his season of eligibility
Prior to SCSU: 2014 graduate of West Des Moines Valley High School...two-year football letterwinner...All-Conference...team played in state championship semifinal game in the fall of 2013...baseball letterwinner.
Personal: The son of Ted and Lori Hartman...physics major at SCSU…spent his summer in 2015 doing research with (professor) Dr. Sinko on astronaut retrieval tractor beam
